Mission
24church exists to fulfill the commandments and commission given by Jesus.
(Matthew 22:37-40, Matthew 28:18-20)

 

Our mission is best expressed in the statement:
Love God. Love People. Live Gospel.

Love God
We are a church that wants to LOVE GOD with all we are and all we have. We Love God because of His love demonstrated for us in the person and work of JESUS. Our response to His great love is WORSHIP, and not just with our songs and service, but with our lives. We devote ourselves to the study and preaching of SCRIPTURE, and with our obedience to His commands we demonstrate our love for Him. Our love for God is a necessity if we are to Love People and Live Gospel.

 

Love People
We are a church that wants to LOVE PEOPLE. We want to be a COMMUNITY of people that care for each other like a family. We will help to meet both the physical and spiritual needs of our family through discipleship and sacrifice. We believe that our love for God is most clearly visible when we love and serve each other.

 

Live Gospel
We are a church that wants to proclaim the message of Jesus Christ in our city and in our world. We desire to immerse ourselves in the culture that surrounds us. Seeking not to condemn it, but to cultivate it with the lives God has given us. We believe that if we allow God to speak and work through us, where He has placed us, we will truly LIVE GOSPEL. We will seek to restore our city and our world with compassion, charity, and the message of Jesus. We are driven by our love for God and people to live lives of MISSION in our culture.

We feel that we can best LOVE GOD, LOVE PEOPLE, and LIVE GOSPEL as we embrace five core values: JESUS, SCRIPTURE, WORSHIP, COMMUNITY, and MISSION.
