The Redlight District:  Message from the book of Hosea

The book of Hosea's most overarching theme is one of spiritual adultery.  The people of Israel had rebelled against their God, their spiritual husband, and committed spiritual adultery.  They forsook God and went after other "lovers" other "gods."  The book of Hosea demonstrates God's love for his people and our tendency to worship other gods.
