Philippians: A Study in Trajectory
Philippians is a letter in the New Testament written by the Apostle Paul to a church that he helped plant in the city of Philippi. One of the themes that Paul emphasizes again and again in this letter is that we must keep pressing forward in our faith. We can never become content with the depth of our current relationship with God, but rather we must maintain a lifestyle of forward trajectory. This is a fitting book for us to study at this time in the life 24church. We are nearly six years old, and God has been faithful to bless us again and again, but we must never become so content with past accomplishments that we fail to press on towards the future plans that God has for us.
