24Kids Jr. ministers to younger children at 24 church. While parents are in our worship service, children ages birth - 5 receive age appropriate teaching in one of four different classrooms. Even our newborns and babies are prayed for while at 24Kids Jr. Classes meet during both the 9:15 and 10:45 services. CRY ROOM If you have a newborn that you're not quite ready to drop off, we have a "cry room" where mothers can keep children / nurse babies, and still participate in our worship service. The cry room is accessible from the lobby and is located in the back right corner of the worship center. CURRICULUM For kids ages birth - 3, we use curriculum from Children Desiring God. Our 4 and 5 year olds use curriculum from LifeChurch.tv. We're striving to provide teaching for kids that will be fun, but also help shape their worldview so that they see this universe in a Biblical way. If you have any questions about curriculum, please feel free to ask. SECURITY Security is a prime concern at 24 church. We have an on duty police officer during church hours to keep an eye on things, and for "just in case" situations. All volunteers receive a background check to make sure they don't have a history of sexual crimes. When you arrive at 24, you'll see a kids check in area to the left. Parents must check in their children, get a nametag with their child's name, put a nametag on their child, and recieve a pager in case we need to contact parents during the service. Only parents with a nametag and pager are allowed to enter the kids hallway to drop off and pick up children. |
