What is 24 Kids?

24 Kids is the children’s ministry for children in grades kindergarten through 5th grade.  (If your 5th grader is normally in Middle School, then we encourage you to let our student ministry minister to your child.)

What is Elevate?

Elevate is the children’s worship service that meets every Sunday morning during adult worship.

Where does my child go for Elevate?

Elevate meets to the in the rear of Pleasant View Christian school.  As you enter the front of Pleasant View Christian, you'll see a sign directing you to the left.  Follow this sign and go down the hallway to the kids meeting area.

What happens in Elevate?

We believe learning Biblical concepts comes best through fun and creativity.   Elevate contains four parts: Ignition (Introduction), Velocity (Worship), PowerCel (Small Group Time), and Re-Entry (Lesson Review). Every eight weeks we begin a new series highlighting a new story from the Bible.

Ignition:

A time to meet new friends and play games that introduce the lesson.

Velocity:

A time of learning through music, games, drama, Bible story and scripture memory.

Powercell:

Small Group time designed to teach practical application of the lesson.

Re-Entry:

A time to review the lesson through games, drama and music.

How does 24 Kids keep the parents involved in their child’s learning?

We want to help you reinforce what your child is taught during Elevate. We do this through a Parent Flyer.

Parent Flyer:Weekly flyer includes the memory verse, main point, Bible story reference, and parent article. You will receive a copy each time you pick up your child from Elevate.

How can I serve with 24 Kids?

Children’s Worship Coaches:

Coaches actively lead during the Children’s Worship time by singing, playing games and listening to the message. They also lead groups of students during the small group time.

Children’s Worship Greeters:

Greeters assist parents at the beginning and end of Elevate by operating check-in tables, welcoming children and helping them find a seat and ensuring door security.

24 Kids Co-Hosts:

Hosts are co-stage leaders who assist the service leader in songs, drama, and teaching.
